Bryn Stevens is a Partner at Village Family Lawyers and an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, holding a Master of Applied Law (Family Law). He specialises in complex property matters, binding financial agreements and complex parenting matters.
Bryn’s property practice focuses on matters involving trusts, companies and business interests. He has particular expertise in binding financial agreements, including prenuptial agreements and agreements made during a relationship or after separation. He also advises on spousal maintenance, helping clients understand their entitlements and obligations and reach workable financial arrangements.
His parenting work includes complex matters such as relocation disputes and cases involving family violence. He understands how sensitive these cases are, and he works closely with clients to protect their interests while keeping children’s safety and wellbeing at the centre of his advice.
Whether he is negotiating an agreement, representing clients at mediation or appearing in court, Bryn explains the options clearly and builds a strategy suited to each client’s circumstances.
Admitted to practice in 2017, Bryn has worked exclusively in family law throughout his career. His accreditation as a Specialist in Family Law is awarded by the Law Institute of Victoria to lawyers who have demonstrated superior knowledge, skills and experience in a specific area of law through a rigorous independent assessment.
Outside work, Bryn enjoys travelling, scuba diving and spending time with his dog, Lucy.
