Anna is a Special Counsel at Village Family Lawyers and an Accredited Specialist in Family Law. She became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2013. The Law Institute of Victoria awards this accreditation to lawyers who have demonstrated superior knowledge, skills and experience in a specific area of law through a rigorous independent assessment. Anna focuses on complex parenting and property matters and has extensive litigation experience. She has spent her career helping individuals and families navigate separation, parenting disputes, property settlements and financial agreements. She is known for her calm, measured approach and her ability to guide clients through difficult decisions with confidence and perspective, particularly when emotions are running high.
Throughout her career, Anna has worked on complex, high-stakes matters across multiple jurisdictions, including the Supreme Courts of Victoria and New South Wales, the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court and the High Court of Australia. That experience gives her a strong understanding of litigation and of what it takes to see a matter through court when that is the right path. Even so, Anna believes the best outcomes are often achieved through thoughtful strategy, practical advice and early resolution wherever possible.

Admitted to practice in 2001, Anna holds degrees in Arts and Law from La Trobe University, with a focus on international law, international relations and human rights. She became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2013, a recognition of her extensive knowledge and experience in a field that continues to evolve. She is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and speaks fluent Polish, allowing her to support clients from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys staying connected with her local community and business networks, and values the relationships and connections that have shaped her career over many years in practice.
