Daniela Vinaccia

Lawyer
LLB (Hons), BCrim, GDLP

Daniela Vinaccia joins Village Family Lawyers with something few newly admitted lawyers can offer: more than two years working inside the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.

As a Legal Case Manager and Associate to a Senior Judicial Registrar, Daniela worked on parenting and family law matters from the Court’s side of the bench. She assisted with Interim Defended Hearings, Final Hearings and Contravention Directions Hearings, helped with case planning and orders, and conducted legal research for judgment writing. She also liaised closely with the Family Advocacy and Support Services, child protection agencies, Police and Legal Aid, and mentored and trained incoming associates.

That experience gives Daniela a practical understanding of how family law matters progress through the Court, and of the support people need when facing complex and often difficult legal processes. Her time at the Court deepened her passion for helping people through these matters with professionalism, empathy and integrity.

Before joining the Court, Daniela worked as a paralegal in criminal law while completing her studies, building strong skills in legal research, drafting and client communication.

Daniela holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Criminology from Monash University, including a semester exchange at the University of Leeds, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. She was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2026. She has formal training in communicating with people who have experienced trauma and in disability support, and is known for her thorough research, clear written work and compassionate approach to the people she works with.
